Hi, my name is Comfort Queh, I was born in Liberia, West Africa. I currently reside in the city of Brotherly Love, known as Philadelphia to most. I moved to the United States 18 years ago with my family for a better life and a better education opportunity.
I’m currently attending Delaware County Community College because I think it’s a great school with wonderful values and it’s affordable. I’m hoping to graduate with my Associate degree in Journalism in August 2019 and hopefully transfer to Temple University to finish with a Bachelor in Journalism.
I love to people watch and ocean watch whenever I get a chance. I enjoy listening to music and getting lost in a great book. I have a guilty pleasure of watching reality TV shows because that’s the only drama I can live.
As I journey into this course I hope to tackle every writing assignment with an open mind and lots of paper because I’m most defiantly am going to have A LOT of “shitty drafts”. I hope by the end of this class my classmates remember me as the girl they learn something from that they can take on.
For a glimpse into my writing please read my scene.
For a glimpse into my identity please read my Proust Questionnaire.
